Mitchell is a data scientist at Hylomorphic specializing in building custom machine learning software. He helps businesses get as much as they can out of their data by building exactly the automated prediction pipeline they need.
He has worked with several organizations as a data scientist, optimizing data ingestion speeds and model accuracy. He helps clients increase their efficiency and accuracy when making predictions about where their business is headed.
Mitchell is also a big proponent of functional programming and believes that using pure languages improves code quality immensely. This choice helps eliminate annoying bugs and greatly decreases the time software spends in development.
He attended the University of Michigan from 2013–17, where he was president of Michigan Hackers and was involved in MSAIL, the Michigan Student Artificial Intelligence Lab.
